Account activation checklist
Complete this checklist before putting your Augno account into production.
Complete this checklist before extensively using your Augno account with live data or critical integrations.
The items in this checklist apply to all Augno accounts. We also have checklists for taking your integration live. For the safety and security of your Augno account, follow these steps:
Review Public Business Information: Ensure any public-facing information linked to your Augno account (e.g., business name, contact details if shared through integrations) is accurate and professional. Incorrect or outdated information can lead to confusion for your customers or partners. Review these details in your account settings in the Dashboard.
Establish Data Integrity and Issue Management Practices: Data accuracy is crucial. While Augno provides tools to help maintain data integrity, we recommend you establish processes to:
- Regularly review key data within the Dashboard.
- Report any anomalies or suspicious activity you observe using the Dashboard or API, if applicable.
- Be prepared to provide relevant information or context if issues or discrepancies arise with your integrations or data.
- Understand how to prevent and mitigate common data quality issues relevant to your use case.
Set Up Team Members and Permissions: If you work with a team, you can often give them access to your Augno account. Augno allows you to assign different permissions to team members based on their roles and responsibilities.
- When granting access, ensure each team member uses their own unique credentials. Do not share your login details.
- If a team member no longer requires access, promptly remove them from your account through the team management section in the Dashboard.
