Weeks of sales
See how many weeks of inventory you have on hand based on recent sales velocity.
The weeks of sales dashboard calculates how many weeks of inventory remain for each product line based on recent average weekly sales. It helps you balance stock levels against demand to avoid both stockouts and excess inventory.
Why weeks of sales matters
- Inventory planning: know which product lines are running low relative to their sales velocity
- Adjustable lookback: change the number of weeks used to calculate average sales so the metric reflects recent trends or longer-term patterns
- Quick comparison: a single table makes it easy to scan across all product lines and spot outliers
