Team members

Invite, manage, and remove the people who use your Augno account.

Team members are the users who have access to your Augno account. From the Team tab in account settings, admins can invite new users, assign roles and departments, and remove members who no longer need access.

Why team management matters

  • Access control: every team member gets their own login credentials and role-based permissions
  • Accountability: individual accounts create an audit trail of who performed each action
  • Organization: departments help you group team members by function (e.g., Sales, Operations, Warehouse)

Viewing team members

The team members list shows each user's:

  • Name and email
  • Role: the role assigned to them, which controls what they can see and do
  • Department: an organizational grouping for reporting and filtering
  • Status: active or removed

Toggle the Show removed filter to view team members who have been removed from the account.

Inviting new team members

To invite a new team member:

  1. Click Create from the team members list
  2. Enter their username (email address)
  3. Select a role to control their permissions
  4. Optionally assign a department
  5. Submit the invitation

The new user will receive an email to activate their account and set a password. See account activation for what the new user experiences.

Editing team members

Admins can update a team member's:

  • Role: change their permission level (e.g., promote to Admin or restrict to Viewer)
  • Department: reassign to a different organizational group

Changes take effect immediately — the user's available navigation and actions update on their next page load.

Removing team members

Remove a team member to revoke their access. Removed users:

  • Can no longer log in
  • Are hidden from the active team list by default
  • Can be viewed by toggling the Show removed filter
  • Retain their historical activity in audit logs

Seat limits

Your plan determines the maximum number of active team members. If you reach your seat limit, you'll need to upgrade your plan or remove an existing member before inviting someone new.
