Generate a production run

What is generating a production run from a sales order?

If an order includes items that need to be manufactured, you can generate a Production Run from the sales order.

• A Production Run turns order demand into manufacturing work (batches/tasks).
• This action is separate from Issue. Issuing does not automatically create a Production Run.
• In current Augno flow, users typically generate the run while the order is still in Estimate.
• If needed, generate the run first, then issue the order to move it into picking and shipping.

Generate a production run from a sales order when current inventory is not enough to fulfill the order.
