Security

The Security tab in account settings lets you update your password. All users can manage their own security settings regardless of their role.

Changing your password

To change your password:

1. Navigate to the Security tab in account settings
2. Enter your current password
3. Enter and confirm your new password
4. Save the change

You'll remain logged in after changing your password. Other active sessions will require the new password on their next login.

Password requirements

Your password must meet all of the following:

• At least 8 characters long
• Contains at least one lowercase letter
• Contains at least one uppercase letter
• Contains at least one digit
• Contains at least one special character (e.g., !@#$%^&*)

Security best practices

• Don't reuse passwords: use a unique password for your Augno account that you don't use elsewhere
• Don't share credentials: each team member should have their own account — use the team members page to invite new users instead of sharing login details
• Use a password manager: store your password in a dedicated password manager for convenience and security
• Rotate regularly: consider updating your password periodically, especially if you suspect it may have been compromised
