Generate Sales
Customers, pricing, orders, and the sales team - everything that drives revenue in Augno.
Generate Sales covers everything from setting up customers and pricing to creating orders and managing your sales team. This section walks through the domain concepts you need to understand before selling in Augno.
Customer setup
Before creating customers, configure the building blocks that control how customers behave:
- Customer groups: classify customers by segment (type groups) and control pricing eligibility (pricing groups)
- Shipping terms: define who pays freight and how charges are calculated
- Payment terms: define when and how customers pay
- Priorities: control order-processing precedence in fulfillment
- Account statuses: control whether a customer can place orders and receive shipments
- Commission & freight exemption: exclude customers or groups from commission and freight charges
- Default sales reps: assign the team member automatically added to new orders
- Default carriers & options: set the shipping carrier and service level for a customer's orders
- Addresses: define billing and shipping locations
Customers
With setup complete, customers are the central records you sell to. Each customer carries identity, segmentation, default terms, and addresses that automatically flow into orders, invoices, and shipments.
Customer pricing
Control what each customer pays through layered pricing:
- Customer prices: product-line-specific pricing that overrides the base product price
- Volume discounts: tiered percentage discounts based on order quantity
- Discount codes: promotional codes that reduce the order total
Sales orders
Sales orders are the central transaction records that drive fulfillment. They bring together customer context, commercial terms, addresses, and line items into a single operational document.
Customer portal
Give your customers a branded, self-service experience:
- Customer portal: a branded storefront where customers register, place orders with the correct pricing, submit payments, view order history, and monitor inventory held on their behalf
Sales team
Manage your sales organization:
- Territories: map geographic regions to sales reps, optionally by product line
- Sales targets: define revenue goals for reps over a date range
